EXTRA-LENGTH DOCK BUMPERS
Extra-length laminated bumpers are ideal where refrigeration or warmth need to be contained, e.g.: factories, warehouses, docks. R.C.L. Manufacturings' Extra-length and custon length bumpers are virtually maintenance free; they also provide special construction features to accommodate unusual anchoring conditions.
Suggested Specifications Furnish and install laminated rubber dock bumpers as manufactured by R.C.L. Mfg., Stockton, CA Model No. - - - - - -. Laminated Pads shall be rubberized-fabric truck tires cut to 41/2" x 10" or 41/2" x 12" and punched to receive 3/4 " support rods. All bumpers must be a minimum of 41/2" thick and closed with two 3" x 3" x 1/4" structural steel angles under approximatedly 1,500 lbs. of pressure. rods shall be welded to angles at one end and closed wih a nut at the other end. Anchor leg of angles shall extend a minimum of 3" beyond rubber surface at either end and contain 2 or 313/16" anchor holes as required. Anchor bolts are supplied separately. Finish of exposed metal shall be black lead free enamel or galvanized (hot dipped).
